Family Sessions
Family sessions can be a tad bit overwhelming and stressful for most mothers. How do I know this? I take my own every year and let me tell you, we are not always picture perfect and ready to shoot.
Some helpful tips for moms and/or dads with small children are
Feed the kids before the session;
the fuller the tummies the brighter the smiles
Don't stress, when mom or dad is stressed then the kiddos typically pick up on it
Outfits can make or break a session and so can picking the wrong location
Disscusing both wardrobe and locations ahead of time is highly recommended for a better outcome
(Pinterest is an incredible tool and I highly recommend getting inspiration from it)
Take a deep breath
I plan on capturing memories not cheesy uncomfortable smiling.
When mom and dad are having fun then the kids will too.
Sessions can be booked anywhere from 2 days to a few months in advance, depending on availability. For Christmas card photo sessions I highly recommend booking 2-3 months in advance.
A deposit of $250 is required for all sessions and is for *new clients only. Once a session fee has been paid you'll never pay another. My session fee covers : a date, an in person or over the phone wardrobe consultation, access to my client closet, 45 min - 1 hour session, an online album to view unedited photos for up to two weeks, editing and travel to and from a location within 25 miles of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
This fee does not include any prints, digital files, extra editing, excess travel fees, location permit (if applicable) nor parking fees (if applicable).
